The online spare parts management system was a web-based system designed to run a vehicle spare parts shop. This system's distinctive aspect is that the owner can access it from any location and on any device. This system has multiple features such as add items, remove items, update items, and staff handling.

The challenge we had in Digital Electronics was to construct a Traffic Signal system that runs on a timer and changes the light state every 10 seconds. The task was to design this system using logic gates and solder the necessary ICs to a PCB. This task was successfully completed by our team.

The embedded systems challenge was to build a robot car using an Arduino microcontroller. And the car should perform specific tasks. Using tracking sensors, the robot car should detect the black and white and follow the black circular route. When the car is following the track and comes across a horizontal line, it should slow down; however, it should resume its normal speed if the car comes across another horizontal line. while the car is driving slower, an IR signal emits from a parking slot, and the car should detect the signal and reverse to that parking slot.

The objective of this assignment is to develop two complementary programs (a USER and a SERVER) that implements an application, called My Network Chat System (MNCS). the SERVER contains an interconnected server and each user is connected to the servers. Further, a user can join one or more channels (chatting topics) to communicate with one or more other users joining the same channels. a user can use several commands to operate the My Network Chat system(MNCS), 

This system consists mainly of two components named Drowsiness Detecting Camera System, and the Functional Wristband System. The Drowsiness Detecting Camera System detects the behavioral characteristics of eye closure. It is responsible for monitoring the driving individual’s eyes and detecting if the driver keeps their eyes closed for a prolonged period. and The Functional Wristband system detects and displays the heart rate of the driver and if the system detects the driver fell asleep the band performs a vibration and produces a beep alarm to wake up the driver.

I built the wristband with an Arduino nano and the camera with a raspberry pi since I conducted the eye identification with machine learning, which required more processing power. The wristband code was written in C, and the eye-detection code was written in Python.

The challenge was to create an IoT project only using a XM1000 sensor, which can measure temperature, light, and humidity.So I started to build a Weather reporting system Using the XM1000 sensor's inputs, I programmed a weather reporting system using C language. and I used the Cooja Contiki simulator to demonstrate how the system works. Using this simulator we can build an IoT network. I set up a wireless router and multiple motes around it, then linked them all to the router and started the simulation. Then, using the router IP, we can connect to the network and verify the rain fall of any location by connecting to a any mote.

'Cell care' is a mobile repairing and selling shop in the Waligepola area. before this project, this shop consisted of a manual system, and all the bills are issued manually. after discussing with the client, a web-based application for inventory management and bill issuing system was designed using Angular and NodeJS. this is a fully functional web application that fulfills the client's expectations. He can log in to this system from anywhere and using any device. He can manage the inventory, check the monthly sales, and issue the bill.This was a huge achievement for me as I self-studied angular nodeJS and completed the project successfully.
